Be well rested.
Fire your drummer and Hire a real one.
Fire your bass player. (Omit if the bass player is good)
Take vocal lessons or hire someone that can sing.
Don’t bring your friends or lovers to your session. Get focused man.
Avoid saws or heavy machinery that can (remove) hands off 3-4 days before session.
